Orange Julius Protein Shake

This is a recipe I learned in Grade 9, when I travelled across the country to British Columbia. In home essentials class - we actually learned this recipe using Tofu, but today I'm reverting back to the original with some added protein powder. This deliciously orange, frothy drink is like sunshine in a cup - equal parts healthy and satisfyingly sweet. Vitamin C is that bestie who always has our backs!

Gather ingredients: (serves 2)
4 fresh oranges, peeled
2 cups of ice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
3/4 cup milk (or almond/coconut milk)
2 tbsp honey (or agave)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Let's Get Mixing:
Place all ingredients in the blender and blend well for about 2-3 minutes.
Add more ice for desired consistency.
Serve and enjoy!
*This shake has high level in proteins and ingredients in this recipe have rich sources of vitamin C.
