The Web of Dreams: A Message from the Universe

About two weeks ago, I had a dream filled with spiders. Not just one or two - literally dozens. EW! Crawling, spinning, weaving themselves into the backdrop of my subconscious. When I woke up, I brushed it off as just a bad dream. But then… they started appearing. Everywhere.

Waking Up to My Worst Fear

I’ll fall asleep and wake up to a spider - either crawling beside me on the wall or right above me on the ceiling. In my son's room (which is unusual). Outside on the balcony. In formal offices. In the studio (again, also rare). Enough of these occurrences have stopped me dead in my tracks. As someone who’s genuinely terrified of spiders, this has not been easy - so I started tapping into the why.

Why Spiders & Why Now?

A genuine wonder: Is this just coincidence, or is something trying to tell me something? As a Virgo (being a triple Virgo at that) I do not ever believe in coincidence. I know that everything happens for a reason.

Spiders are ancient symbols in many cultures. They represent patience, creativity and the weaving of life’s intricate web. They are nature’s little architects, dreamers, builders and most fascinating of all - spiders are also a symbol of wealth, prosperity and bringing ideas to life.

Stepping Into the Unknown

The thing that scares me most might actually be a message. A sign that something new is being born. That I’m entering a chapter of untapped potential. A phase where I give breath to ideas I’ve never dared to explore before.... and the timing is crazy because I have so many projects brewing up for the summer.

The spiders - though terrifying - might be here to tell me: It’s time to move forward. It’s time to create. It’s time to step into the unknown, even if it gives you chills.

Transformation Wears Many Faces

Maybe these encounters are not meant to torment me but to wake me up - shake me into action. To force me to face my fears and evolve. Which is exactly what I've been doing for the last few years. True growth. It never happens in comfort and I still have a few more battles to conquer. But maybe, the very things we’re afraid of are the guardians of our biggest transformations.

Nature's messages are strong, spiritual translations.

From Fear to Fuel

So this is me. Still flinching every time I spot one - but now I’m also listening. I’m writing. I’m creating. I’m leaning into the symbolism instead of running from it, because maybe these spiders aren’t just here to creep me out. Maybe they’re crawling into my life to say:

"You’re on the edge of something big. Spin your web. You were born to create."
