Hints of sweet pineapple and maraschino cherries really compliment ham in the best ways! I make this alongside a turkey on Thanksgiving or Christmas to give people lots of option, and the first one to go is always the ham! Slow-cooked to perfection for a fall-apart, melt-in-your-mouth, foolproof recipe.

Gather Ingredients:
5-8lb smoked ham, fully cooked
1 can pineapple rings, save the juice
1 jar maraschino cherries, save the juice
Brown Sugar Glaze:
juice from pineapple can
juice from cherry jar
1/2 cup pure honey
1/4 cup yellow mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp ground clove
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup corn starch (or flour)
Let's Get Mixing:
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and grab a decent sized roasting pan.
Place the ham in the center of the pan. Using toothpicks, pin the pineapple rings and cherries to the ham.
In a large saucepan over medium-high heat - combine the pineapple/cherry juices, honey, mustard, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and clove and mix until smooth and lumps are gone.
Bring to a rolling boil, stirring often to thicken the glaze, approximately 3=5 minutes.
Pour over the ham and place the ham in the oven.
Bake for 30 minutes, uncovered - and then baste to cover the ham in extra glaze.
Bake for another 20-30 minutes, uncovered.
Remove ham from oven, let rest for about 10-15 minutes before carving.
Serve + enjoy!
